special orders

Most of the items in the catalog can be duplicated using alternate metals, stones or sizes. Silver pieces can be duplicated in karat gold or platinum. Gold pieces can be reproduced in silver. I have a large inventory of stones similar to those used in the work on these pages. Or perhaps you have a stone that you would like set in one of my designs. Send me a message with your request. I will reply with answers to your questions and a quote for your special order.

a note about sizing rings

Silver rings with stones cannot be sized normally by cutting the shank to remove or add a bit of metal. Heating the ring to re-solder the cut would damage the stone.  Removing the stone can damage it and the metal that holds it in place. Sizing is done either by removing metal from the inside of the shank (with a file) to make them a bit larger, or adding a thin metal sleeve to the inside of the shank to make them smaller. Rings without stones can be sized normally

Many of my rings can be duplicated in your correct size. It may take a bit longer but you will be happier with the finished piece. Unfortunately, some rings contain one-of-a-kind stones and cannot be duplicated.
